A warm Wolsey Lodge welcome, a warm house hot baths and breakfasts what more do you need, OK there’s the drawing room and snooker room  if its a little damp and all discounted by £15 per person per night off our summer rates.   With the Eden Project with its time of gifts and ice skating rink and festive evenings.  The lost gardens of Helligan and Fowey for more unusual gifts and Truro and Falmouth for the traditional. Were sure we can fill your day or days with us with happy memories.

Mike & Jan Russell invite you to relax in luxurious style where service and consideration are paramount at this large Victorian gentleman's residence, a member of the Wolsey lodges group of luxury bed & breakfast, set over an acre of mature gardens where Wisteria, Magnolia grandiflora and many other species grow, where you can enjoy the ultimate in 5star Gold Award B/B accommodation.

We are ideally situated for touring Cornwall with the Eden Project 5mins away, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Charlestown, Carlyon Bay, Fowey, Lanhydrock and the coastal footpath within 20mins. Looe, Polperro and Truro all within 35mins.  Falmouth, Padstow and Newquay Port Issac all less than an hour away, and St Ives, Lands End Penzance and the lizard in less than 1½ hours

Penarwyn House, built as a 60 acre estate in the late 1800's by John De Cressy Treffry (High Sheriff of Cornwall 1921), now stands in over an acre of mature grounds, including a walled garden with Victorian fernery.Fortunately the house has retained most of its period features with high ceilings, decorative cornices, parquet flooring and crystal chandeliers together with an eclectic mix of antique and modern furniture, offering up to date comfort with full central heating, broadband access for your laptop, spacious bedrooms and luxurious en-suite bathrooms most with roll-top baths and separate powerful showers.

Fascinating sub-tropical gardens abound in Cornwall many are open all year. Spring comes early with the gardens bursting into flower from February and remaining captivating through to late autumn. With Cornwall's diverse culture there are plenty of interesting places to visit and things to do throughout the year.
